All California, Wallflowers, by Laura Eckstein Jones, Summer 2018
It was not long ago that wallpaper was considered a no-no relic from the past. Thankfully, the last decade has changed that outdated perception, and a number of brands have elevated the medium to a vibrant and respected art form.
Lastly, Half Full (from $175 per double roll, halffull.life) was inspired by founders Kellie Menendez and Ondrea Vicklund's love of nature, which is evident in the inaugural collection's three lines: Wild Endangered and Elements. Illustrated bees flock around lavender in the NorCal pattern, while the linear Elephant pattern mimics deep, fingerprintlike lines in the animal's skin. Look out for new patterns - all handmade to order - to launch this fall.
